The busway system is an electrical conduit system that replaces electrical cables, but is manufactured in the form of a hard-shelled bar with conductors that are converted into copper or aluminum cores, covered with insulating material. The conductors have a maximum length of 3 meters and are connected using connectors, and can have power pick-up positions or not, depending on the design and the installation location in the building.
The design of the busway system in the building can have different types of conductors, but generally there are 3 types:
-
Connection from the Transformer to the main distribution cabinet (LV Panel) (horizontal rise).
-
Connection from the Generator to the main distribution cabinet (LV Panel) (horizontal rise).
-
Conductor bar from the distribution cabinet to the floors (vertical rise).
-
Additionally, there may be branch lines (using T connections).
